Train in Germany.Build a real career.
An Ausbildung lets you learn a trade by combining classroom teaching with hands-on experience in a company. In the dual system, you alternate between the company and the Berufsschule. The duration depends on the trade, usually 2 to 3.5 years.

Your Ausbildung starts with the right choice.

04Being paid
You train while you work.
For a dual Ausbildung, the company pays an Ausbildungsvergütung. Its amount depends on the trade, the sector, the region and the company.
Year Monthly gross minimum (2026) Year 1 724 € Year 2 854 € Year 3 977 € Year 4 1,014 € Gross amounts, 2026 legal minimums. Actual pay can be higher depending on the trade, sector, region and company. This is the pay during the Ausbildung, not to be confused with the salary once qualified.
05A recognised trade
In the end, you don't just leave with experience.
You finish your training with a recognised vocational qualification and can enter working life in your field. The Ausbildung also opens the way to further professional development.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between Ausbildung and direct employment?
The Ausbildung is a paid vocational training leading to a German qualification. Direct employment is for people who are already qualified and experienced and join a company directly.
What level of German is needed?
B2 is the standard level for an Ausbildung. We support you in your language progress up to that level.
What qualifications are needed?
A school level or qualification compatible with the target trade. Each profile is reviewed individually.
Does Karriere Fähre guarantee a job?
No. No serious organisation can guarantee a job, an Ausbildung or a visa. We prepare and guide you to make your project achievable; final admission depends on schools, employers and authorities.
How does selection work?
Every application is reviewed individually: profile, motivation, goal and fit with an in-demand trade. We build the files we consider achievable.
Which path is right for you?
Already qualified? Looking for an Ausbildung? Not sure yet which way to go? We start with your profile.
German, the key to your success
